The Round IX Precision glove was engineered for mitt work, partner drills, and boxing sessions where speed, precision, and wrist stability matter most. Its compact profile creates a closer connection to every punch, while the secure ergonomic fit and reinforced wrist support help you throw combinations with confidence.
Unlike many bulky training gloves, the Precision features a tighter, more responsive fit that minimizes movement inside the glove and promotes better punch mechanics — built with premium synthetic leather, reinforced double stitching, multi-layer impact foam, mesh palm venting, and an extended wrist wrap with a firm hook-and-loop closure.
The Precision is a specialized 12 oz training glove. While it can be used for light to moderate heavy bag sessions, it was not designed to replace a heavier glove for extended heavy bag work or sparring. If heavy bag training is a primary part of your routine, we recommend using a heavier glove for maximum hand protection and durability.
Every design choice was intentional. The Precision isn't built to be everything — it was built to excel where speed, accuracy, and wrist support matter most.

Why the Ninth?
The ninth round is where conditioning meets will. Some of boxing's greatest moments happened when the bell rang for round nine — and the fighters who were ready answered it.
In the final fight of his career, Rocky Marciano knocked out the great Archie Moore in the ninth round — then walked away from the sport as the only heavyweight champion to retire undefeated at 49–0.
A perfect career, sealed in Round IX.
Chuck Wepner, a 40-to-1 underdog, did the unthinkable in the ninth round: he put Muhammad Ali on the canvas — only the fourth knockdown of Ali's career. Ali rose furious and stopped him with 19 seconds left in the 15th, but a struggling screenwriter named Sylvester Stallone watched that ninth round and went home to write Rocky.
One ninth-round knockdown created boxing's greatest movie.
Sugar Ray Leonard dropped the unbeaten Ayub Kalule in the ninth round to win the WBA light middleweight title — becoming a two-division world champion on the strength of a ninth-round finish.

Arturo Gatti and Micky Ward's ninth round is spoken of as one of the greatest rounds ever fought — Gatti dropped by a body shot, both men nearly finished, neither willing to break. It's the round every highlight reel reaches for.
